Frequently Asked Questions

At the moment we only have a wine and beer licence.

Due to the fact that we are situated on the second floor, we only have access from the street front to the restaurant via a set of steps and unfortunately this would not be suitable for a person with limited mobility.

We have five very popular vegetarian dishes on our a la carte menu, two of which are vegan. Seven of our side-dishes are vegan, the roti (unleavened flatbread made from wholewheat flour) and steamed basmati rice.

We are proud that our chicken, lamb and fish (with the exception of the prawns) are fresh and all our produce are of Irish origin.
The quality of our food is our priority and we refuse to cut corners for the sake of profit.

Families are most welcome in Rasam but please note no children in the restaurant after 8pm.

Early Bird available all days except Friday, Saturday & Bank Holiday Monday.
Monday – Thursday 5:30pm – 6:45pm & Sundays from 5pm – 6:45pm (please vacate seats by 8:25pm if needed)

We do not have a “BYOW” facility. We have taken special care to provide our customers with an exciting and varied range of wines, suitable for every discerning palette, carefully chosen to compliment the unique flavours and spices of Indian cuisine and also affordable for every pocket.

Yes we do. Please contact Nisheeth the owner or Shinoj our general manager for more details –

At the moment we are not serving food in Rasam’s outdoor roof area but might consider doing this sometime in the future.

No we do not. For the time being we are still only offering “to collect” at the restaurant.

Guests are most welcome to bring in a birthday cake to celebrate, however we cannot allow sparklers or anything ‘fire’ related brought in to the restaurant. Rasam would also be happy (on prior arrangement) to provide candles and a festive look to any of our desserts for a special occasion.
