We opened our doors for business in November 2003 with the solid ambition to serve high quality authentic Indian cuisine in Dublin.
Indian food has in recent years moved on from the “one sauce fits all” mantle to be instead recognised as a wonderfully diverse and complex tasting experience, reflecting all the amazing potent flavours of the continent. Rasam wanted to contribute to the Indian food awakening and so when a suitable premises came available in Glasthule in the heart of a busy Dublin suburb, Rasam, as it is today, was born.
The Rasam team will happily espouse the many virtues of their style of cooking, dedicated to balance and care of the body. Our staff come from many regions of India, each having extensive training and experience within the hospitality settings of India.
At Rasam, each guest is personally welcomed into our restaurant. We will always take great care that whether an expert or a novice Indian diner, and of course our much appreciated regulars, everyone experiences true Indian hospitality.

We take immense pride in our spices, created to accentuate and compliment our range of dishes. We mix, roast and grind spices and herbs daily to create the diverse flavours that our patrons love to enjoy. We are committed to the use of the freshest ingredients down to our lemons that are freshly squeezed daily for maximum flavour.
