ALOO JEERA RECIPE

Ingredients

POTATOES                             5  MEDIUM SIZE

OIL                                           2 TBSP

CUMIN SEED                        2 TSP

ASAFOETIDA                        ½ TSP

GINGER                                 1 TSP

GREEN CHILLI                    2

CRUSHED CORIANDER   1 TSP

TURMERIC                           ½ TSP

RED CHILLI POWDER      ½ TSP

SALT                                      TO TASTE

MANGO POWDER             1 TSP

GREEN CORIANDER        2 TBSP

LEMON                                 1/2

Cooking Instructions

  • HEAT THE OIL IN FRYING PAN ON MEDIUM HIGH HEAT AND ADD CUMIN SEED AND ASAFOETIDA .
  • ONCE THE SEED CRACKS ADD GREEN CHILLI AND GINGER, STIR FOR FEW SECONDS.  NOW ADD THE REMAINING SPICES, CORIANDER, TURMERIC, CHILLI POWDER , MANGO POWDER AND SALT.STIR. STIR IT FOR FEW SECONDS.
  • ADD THE DICED POTATO AND MIX WELL WITH SPICES, ALL THE POTATO SHOULD BE COATED WITH SPICES ,.
  • FINISH WITH ADDING FRESH CHOPPED GREEN CORIANDER  AND LEMON JUICE
