(Aloo Tikki) from Rasam Cookery Classes

ALOO TIKKI RECIPE

Ingredients

POTATOES (BOILED)                           2 MEDIUM SIZE

GINGER (CHOPPED)                            2 TSP

GREEN CHILLI (CHOPPED)               1 TSP

CARIANDER (CHOPPPED)                  3 TSP

GREEN PEAS                                          100 GM.

SALT                                                         TO TASTE

RED CHILLI POWDER                         ½ TSP

TURMERIC                                             ¼ TSP

ROASTED GRAM FLOUR                     1 TBSP

CUMIN POWDER                                  1 TSP

OIL                                                           FOR FRYING

 Cooking Instructions

–        GRATE THE POTATOES  AND  KEEP IT ASIDE

–        HEAT OILIN PAN AND TEMPER IT WITH CHOPPED GINGER AND GREEN CHILLI.

–         ADD ALL THE SPICES AND GREEN PEAS AND SAUTE FOR FEW SECONDS. TAKE OUT OF THE PAN AND LET IT COOL DOWN.

–        MIX THE POTATOES AND GREEN PEAS MIXTURE.

–        NOW SHAPE IT IN SMALL CAKES AND FRY THEM IN OIL.

–        SERVE WITH TAMARIND CHUTNEY AND HONEY YOGHURT.
